Amanda Hutter, owner of Green Feet, was luckily born into dogsledding. Her family works with small scale dogsledding operations out of their home kennel, “Tokamak Kennel” located in Saugeen Shores. She credits her father to keeping the true spirit of mushing alive! To Amanda and her family, this sport is not a sport. It is a means by which to explore. It is a means to enjoy the great white winter wilderness (sustainably). It is working with a team of animals that pull becuase they want to, and because they trust the musher.  And most of all, its SUPER fun!!

About Tokamak Kennel: Tokamak Kennel is run by Amanda’s family, theTokamak Kennel head honcho being Victor Hutter. All dogs run on this family team are rescue dogs. After a 2 week ‘test’ period to see if a dog gets along with the team and is happy to pull, these rescue dogs find their spot on the team, and will usually remain with the team as their forever family.
